Ticket Information
Full-week, single-day, and evening-only passes are all available! Buy online ahead of time, or buy at the conference in person.
Day Pass Information
• Sunday July 11th: $105 for the day
• Monday - Thursday: $85 for the day
• Friday (half-day): $45 for the day
• Kids (age 18 and under): $50 for the whole week

Daily Highlights and Special Evening Programs
• Sunday, July 11: Our Market Square Fair runs from 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM! Crafts displays and demonstrations; Litvaks, Galitzianers, Magyars, Latvian, and Polish research assistance; lectures on Ancestry.com, Google Earth, Genealogy by Genetics (DNA); Jewish cooking displays; photographic analysis; a parent-child workshop with Arthur Kurzweil; Jonathan Kirsch speaks on King David's ancestry and descendants. Film Festival all day long. Yale Strom performs with his klezmer band Hot Pstromi at 3:45 PM and 6:15 PM. Keynote speaker: author Daniel Mendelsohn.
• Monday, July 12: Full day of programs, lectures, and classes. Evening events: JewishGen Live! & "Looking for Louie" performance with Stacie Chaiken.
• Tuesday, July 13: Full day of programs, lectures, and classes. Evening events: "The Bialy Eaters" with Tovah Feldshuh and Yale Strom.
• Wednesday, July 14: Full day of programs, lectures, and classes. Evening events: "Looking for God in the Magic Shop" with Arthur Kurzweil; Stephen Smith, Executive Director of the USC Shoah Foundation Institute; and screening of "Yoo Hoo Mrs. Goldberg."
• Thursday, July 15: Full day of programs, lectures, and classes. Evening events: "Rexite on the Radio," gala awards dinner with Mitch Smolkin and Nina Shapilsky. ($86)

De 30ste Internationale IAJGS conferentie zal volgend jaar worden gehouden in Los Angeles, Californië, in het splinternieuwe L.A. LIVE convention center. Het nieuwe JW Marriott Hotel bij L.A. LIVE
De IAJGS conferentie zal worden gehouden in het splinternieuwe JW Marriott Hotel, onderdeel van het nieuwe L.A. Live conferentie centrum in de binnenstad van Los Angeles, vlakbij het Staples Center, het Nokia Theater, en het Grammy museum. Het 897 kamers tellende hotel zal haar deuren openen in februari 2010. Het hotel is voorzien van vele faciliteiten , waaronder een zwembad op het dakterras, spa en fitness center, alsmede WiFi op alle kamers.
Er zijn vele restaurants op het complex aanwezig waaronder de, in Los Angeles bekende: Trader Vic’s, The Farm of Beverly Hills, Katsuya, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, Rósa Mexicano, Lawry’s Carvery en vele andere. De IAJGS conferentie is een van de eerste grote evenementen die in het L.A. LIVE zal worden gehouden, en zal een genealogische ontdekkingsreis worden om nooit te vergeten.

- Lezingen over het gebruik van DNA, en genetische genealogie voor onderzoek naar voorouders en familie.
- Entertainment, met een Joods genealogisch filmfestival, en nieuwe uitvoeringen van Jiddisch theater, Klezmer muziek, vaudeville, en natuurlijk Hollywood!

(English) The IAJGS conference is only a month away, and we’ve been busy planning activities for everyone to enjoy, including a list of optional tours to take in the Los Angeles area. For a small extra fee, conference-goers can enjoy learning about different facets of Los Angeles’ Jewish history.
